EN: Understanding the visual languages that preceded us helps us comprehend contemporary ones and perhaps even create new ones. Each of these possesses a personal communicative code derived from the cultural environment in which it developed. Sometimes, however, expressing what we feel with words seems impossible, and writing appears inadequate. This is why visual language assumes centrality in human history. The reason for the prevalence of the image over the word can be found in the fact that when we perceive an object or anything else in reality, what remains in our mind is nothing but the image. To this, we associate concepts, sensations, thoughts, a true emotional baggage, thus giving rise to visual poetry, where meaning and signifier merge into one another. Visual poetry is a hybrid art that combines the aesthetics of traditional poetry with visual form and aesthetics. This art form is based on the experimentation and interaction of words, images, and sounds to create a complete and engaging aesthetic experience. It originated in the first half of the twentieth century and was influenced by many artistic movements such as futurism, Dadaism, and surrealism. Today, it continues to evolve and influence contemporary culture, especially thanks to its ability to use digital technologies to create new forms of artistic expression. This research, therefore, stems from the personal intention to reduce a text to its essential elements upon which to build the communicative act for the promotion of the cultural heritage of the Archaeological Park of Cerveteri. I have only included the main artist, Emiliò Isgrò, because I am using his technique for the visual identity of the archaeological park in the project.
